Breitling's iconic Navitimer launched in 1952, thanks to Willy Breitling's wrist chronograph complemented with a circular slide rule for flight calculations. In 1954, the Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) named it the official timepiece. Adopted by US aviators, airline captains, and aircraft enthusiasts, the Navitimer even accompanied astronaut Scott Carpenter in 1962. Stars like Miles Davis & Serge Gainsbourg appreciated its stylish function.

For nearly three-quarters of a century, Breitling's beloved Navitimer has undergone numerous iterations, all while maintaining its classic features. This new version is distinguished by its flattened slide rule, a dome-shaped crystal, and alternating polished & brushed metal elements for an understated, lustrous look. Plus, modern updates like new colours - blue, green, and copper - adorn the dial, as well as the AOPA wings relocated to their original 12 o'clock position for added nostalgia.
